I was home again today. I was supposed to be at a training, but instead I was home with recovering kids. But I am SO thankful to know that my students were in GREAT hands! Last spring I had the good fortune of working with a great student teacher. And today she subbed for me! Awesome! I love knowing that everything that needed to get done, did. That everything we do on a regular day happened today just as if I was there. And more than that, my kids were great for her. Of course they were, because I do have a terrific class, but you never know how they will behave for a sub. So, today I say yea for having a good friend and amazing sub that I can count on!
